The Most Loved Character Dolls From Children's TV!
|
Although many of the dolls on our site are from educational sources; Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sesame Street, and even the Dr Seuss characters listed on this page, we shouldn't forget that not all children's dolls have to be teaching them - children can learn just as well from role models, and some of the stories told in the classic Loony Tunes cartoons served that purpose beautifully. (Bugs Bunny's original appearance was in a retelling of The Tortoise and The Hare, and he went on to star in three more adaptations thru the decades.
The Grinch who Stole Christmas
That's why we also offer dolls like the Looney Tunes characters; Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz and Tweety Bird. And sometimes the dolls aren't meant for the child, but for the adult collector who for nostalgic reasons, or just for fun, want a Bugs Bunny doll for the office. Even the hugely popular official Tweety Fan site doesn't have the large plush Tweety Doll available! Other popular character dolls from TV include Hello Kitty, Scoobie Doo doll, Curious George soft plush and the 'Hug Me' barney from Child Guidance!

Beginner Books and Storybooks
|
For over fifty years, ever since Ted Geisel wrote the The Cat in the Hat, children have discovered the excitement of reading through this book.
Using only 220 'new-reader' vocabulary words, his unique illustration style, and a talent for rhyme, 'The Cat in the Hat', 'Green Eggs and Ham' and dozens of other 'beginner books' soon followed. ( Green Eggs and Ham uses just 50 words! -- Dr Seuss's publisher bet him he couldn't write a book with just 50. As of 2001, it was the fourth all time best selling children's book! )
